We are proud to announce a landmark initiative in skills development – the EFSIM Skills Development Academy in Aligarh, India. This is a stride forward in our journey to upskill the Indian workforce and enhance employability, ultimately empowering brighter futures for many.

At EFS Group, we recognize India’s vast potential as the Skill Capital of the World and are delighted to align our efforts with the Skill India Mission. The EFSIM Skills Development Academy is our pledge to workers’ growth and empowerment, offering a robust platform to augment their skills with specialized global accreditations.

The grand inauguration of our Aligarh centre was graced by the presence of Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Mr. Tariq Mansoor, Member of Legislative Council and Former VC of AMU, alongside other esteemed dignitaries, members of the media, EFS Management, and the academy’s enthusiastic trainees.

Our goal at the Aligarh institute is ambitious yet attainable – to train between 2,000 to 5,000 individuals in the next 18 months. We aim to make a significant impact on local workforce upskilling, with an emphasis on technical skills such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. As a leading employer in the facilities management sector, EFS Group is uniquely positioned to offer a wealth of job opportunities to our academy graduates across various technical domains both in India and abroad.

The centre is not just a training facility but a gateway to global opportunities. It has the esteemed authorization as a Skill Assessment and Certification centre by Saudi Arabia’s Takamol Holding Skill Verification Program and the NSDC, Government of India.

The visionary behind this academy, Mr. Tariq Chauhan, Group CEO, shared his insights into the global demand for a skilled Indian workforce and his commitment to addressing employability gaps. Aligarh, with its conducive ecosystem, is just the beginning. The initiative is set to broaden its horizon with forthcoming centres in Bhubaneshwar, Meghalaya, and Hyderabad. He also extended his gratitude to Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, for his invaluable guidance and support.

Adding to the inaugural narrative, Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari commended the academy as a beacon for individuals aspiring to gain international recognition and access to a world brimming with skill-based opportunities.

Mr. Tariq Mansoor also imparted his thoughts, emphasizing that the EFSIM Skills Development Academy is a testament to our commitment to social upliftment through skill enhancement, far beyond a commercial venture.

The ceremony culminated with the presentation of certificates to the first batch of graduates from the academy, a celebration of their hard work and newfound expertise.
