Today Abdullah is Manager Soft Services supervising one of the biggest sites in UAE. Abdullah’s journey started in 2017 when he joined EFS Group as a coordinator of soft services. EFS management recognised his leadership and training skills, which provided Abdullah with the right career and performance path suitable to his natural-born abilities and growth vision.
Fast forward to 2018 Abdullah was promoted to the Assistant Manager soft services and put in charge to oversee and train hundreds of staff.
Starting 2019 Abdullah was promoted to the position of Manager Soft Services, where he is handling hundreds of staff and which he considers being the greatest honour of his career. In the same year, he was nominated as Excellence Champion which exposed him to close training together with the C-level leadership of the EFS and prepared him to progress in his career by honing his leadership skills and preparing him for excellence.
Abdullah’s learnings in the EFS programs didn’t stop at acquiring essential professional knowledge: “What I’ve learned in EFS impacted not only my professional life, but my personal life too: lead by example, and be compassionate towards your colleagues.”
Abdullah’s advice is a reflection of his risk-taking nature:” I look forward to becoming a leader in the FM industry and my journey from 30 staff to 500 staff under management taught me to not be afraid of taking challenges and accepting them along the way”.
