Integrated facilities management firm, EFS, completed the eighth edition of its employee carnival on 17 December at Zabeel Park Gate Five, Dubai, in the presence of officials, company leaders and employees from across the country.
Concluding three months of exciting activities celebrating diversity, inclusion, and compassion, representing core values and culture at EFS, the EFS Carnival main event celebrated the unsung heroes, front liners.
In addition, it focused on compassion, sustainability, and a showcase of true diversity. The EFS annual carnival was hosted by the management team and EFS staff to honour over 5,000 blue-collar workforce comprising technicians, housekeeping and security personnel from 35 diverse nationalities.
This year, the EFS Carnival became a global event by celebrating Carnival Season 8 in EFS companies across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, with the theme of diversity and inclusion touching the lives of over 15,000 workforces.
EFS hosted on 17th December a fun-filled day that set a spectrum of initiatives meant to recognise these ‘boots on the ground’, their talent and their tireless service for the company.
The event kicked off with a versatile parade and a welcome speech from EFS Group CEO Tariq Chauhan and the Consul General of India, Dubai, Dr Aman Puri. During the event, the COP26 theme was celebrated with the EFS Sustainability corner.
Participants were encouraged to plant a flower and make a sustainability pledge to support the greener future of the community. Touching upon their higher self-actualization, the event focused on recognizing our home-grown entertainers, dancers, singers, DJs, artists, chefs, and athletes.
EFS also honoured individuals and their families with the Compassionate Awards, recognizing members from all walks of life, whether aged parents or children’s education, special needs, family reunions, or young mothers away from home. EFS also awarded employees who have contributed with their innovation efforts to the company and those who are actively engaged with CSR efforts back in their home country, summing up to a total of more than Dhs250k prizes giveaways.
